Kevin M. Koel
Kevin M. Koel joined Doré & Associates, Attorneys, P.C. in July 2007. Prior to joining the firm, he was a petroleum landman running mineral title throughout Texas. Kevin focuses his practice on collection for oil & gas service companies, including lien preparation, civil litigation and bankruptcy litigation, including defending against preference avoidance. Kevin also has experience in commercial and residential real estate, mechanic’s liens, probate, oil & gas, title, wind energy, and foreclosures. Kevin currently resides in the Katy area.
Kevin is admitted to practice in Texas and Colorado, before the U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas and before the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. He is a member of the the Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas, the Fort Bend County Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the Colorado Bar Association. Kevin earned his law degree, cum laude, from New York Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado.
